The Tanzania exploration safari lets you get the feel and enjoy some of the most serene, tranquil, wild and famous touristic destinations in Tanzania. Starting at Arusha on the first day, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and flying back to Arusha on the six day. There’s plenty to enjoy and activities to do on all these popular destinations including wildlife, culture, heritages and geological features such as “the roof of Africa”, Mount Kilimajaro.
Day 1: Arusha
After visitors are picked from specific hotels or lodges, they depart to Arusha national Park where safari walk and game drives are organized for a chance to see the black and white Columbus Monkey. Visitors can spend their afternoon by visiting the alkaline Momella lakes, the Ngurdoto crater and spectacular waterfalls within the Arusha national park.
After the wonderful afternoon within the National park, Tourists will then be dropped back to their lodges or choose to stay within the mountain village lodge in a perfectly maintained coffee estate overlooking Mount Meru and the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro crater for a full day game drive, walk-up to the rim of the crater and round the crater enjoying the surrounding of awesome volcano s home for over 20,000 animals including the near extinct black Rhino. Break for Lunch on the tip of the crater while enjoying the beautiful scenery presented by the Leirai forest in the slopes of the crater.
After Lunch visitors will drop down to the floor of the crater and head back to their specific hotels or choose to stay at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge which clings on the Ngorongoro crater.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
After Breakfast, visitors will leave for Ngorongoro crater for nature walks through the Leirai Forest then explore the Volcano’s surrounding the Crater from within. After lunch, proceed with the game drive through the lakes and grassy plains presenting the wonderful bird’s scenery with over 500 bird species inhabiting within the Serengeti. Drive back to the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for your evening stay.
Day 4: Serengeti
After breakfast, departure for the Serengeti stopping at the Olduvai George for wonderful sceneries of the earliest signs of mankind ever discovered. At the Olduvai George; enjoy views of the Nasera Rock and Olkarien Gorge before proceeding to Serengeti then arriving in the afternoon. After Lunch, proceed to game drive in the Serengeti National Park, Overnight at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.
Day 5: Serengeti
A complete full day at the Serengeti National Park or as it’s best known by locals “Endless Plains”, after breakfast, mid and afternoon game drives enjoying the rich types of animals within the Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon, drive to the strategic Crossing point within the National Park for a chance to view one of the most inspiring events on earth; the annual migration of over a million Zebra and Wildebeest from Kenya to Serengeti in their quest for search of food and water.
Overnight at campsite for a chance to experience the Serengeti bush/ wild dinner.
Day 6: Fly to Arusha
After breakfast at campsite, drive to the Seronera airstrip which servers the Serengeti National park. Take flight back to Arusha after an unforgettable 6 day of exploring Tanzania Safari’s. Flying above the Serengeti National park gives you a final bird’s eye view of the entire Serengeti ecosystem.
What is the type of clothing I should pack?
Due to our favorable climate conditions, visitors to the East African region are encouraged to travel with clothing that suit moderate temperatures. It is not hot or too cold. Our terrain is sloppy so bring comfortable shoes. Things like jewelry leave behind because it might get lost in the wilderness and will be difficult to retrieve them.
Will I get information in advance concerning the places I will visit, people to meet and the type of wildlife to watch?
